16-Year-Old Arrested For Striking Student With Metal Pipe

A 16-year-old St. Thomas high school student, whose name is being withheld because of his age, was arrested on Jan. 14 just before 3:30 p.m. after violently striking another student with a metal pipe, police spokesperson Melody Rames has made known.

The victim, another student, suffered injuries when the male suspect struck him multiple times in his head.

Police did not provide information on the victim's condition.

The teen has been charged with third degree assault.
