Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s Empress of the Seas Adds St. Croix to Itinerary for Jan. 16

The Virgin Islands Port Authority has received changes to its cruise schedules for the Austin “Babe” Monsanto Marine Terminal in Crown Bay, St. Thomas and the Ann E. Abramson Marine Facility in Frederiksted, St. Croix.  

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s Empress of the Seas has notified VIPA that it has cancelled its scheduled call to Crown Bay on January 16, VIPA said Monday, and rescheduled its Crown Bay visit to January 15.  The ship is scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. and depart at 7 p.m.  

The Empress of the Seas has also added a visit to St. Croix to its itinerary and will sail to Frederiksted on January 16.  It will berth in Frederiksted at 7 a.m. and depart at 3 p.m. The ship has a passenger capacity of 1,840 guests and 668 crew.

VIPA was also notified Monday that the Carnival Breeze will berth in Frederiksted tomorrow, January 14 at 11 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. as previously scheduled.  The ship departs at 5 p.m.  Cruise schedules may be downloaded from the Seaports section of VIPA’s website www.viport.com.
