The Virgin Islands Port Authority has issued a revised schedule for the car ferries that operate between the Theovald Moorehead Dock and Terminal at Enighed Pond, St. John and the Urman Fredericks Marine Terminal in Red Hook, St. Thomas:

Ferry-Schedule

The new schedule includes a 7:00 p.m. departure from Enighed Pond and an 8 p.m. departure from Red Hook provided by Global Marine’s General II barge.  Global Marine has been providing this service and it has been officially added to the published schedule.  In addition, Love City Car Ferries was granted permission from VIPA to operate both the Grand Vic and the Captain Vic.  The new schedule includes a slot for both vessels – the latter of which will be operating one of two routes formerly approved for Boyson, Inc.  Boyson is currently not operating.

At its December 17, 2019 VIPA Board meeting, the Board authorized Island Nice LLC to operate its Todd G car ferry for a period of six months to provide service between Enighed Pond and Red Hook.  The Todd G operates on the second schedule formerly approved for Boyson, Inc.

VIPA said it hopes that this new schedule will address the needs of the St. John community as well as provide adequate transportation services for residents who work between both islands and tourists who visit St. John via the car ferries.
