until the hour of 2:00 PM, Local Time, on Friday, May 15th, 2020, following which time, in the Engineering Office of the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport Terminal Building, St. Croix,  U. S. Virgin Islands, said bids will be opened and publicly read immediately for:

RUNWAY 10-28 SHOULDER AND ELECTRICAL VAULT CONSTRUCTION

HENRY E. ROHLSEN AIRPORT

The project consists of constructing paved asphalt shoulders in previously unpaved portions along both sides of the 10,000-ft Runway, replacement of all existing elevated edge lights along the runway and all taxiways with new elevated LED edge lights, replacement of conduits and cabling for runway and taxiway edge light systems, construction of a new concrete electrical vault building including a new backup generator, installation of new constant current regulators in the new vault building, relocation of the existing electrical homerun ductbank system, complete demolition of the existing electrical vault building, and replacement of the Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS) system.

Bidders are encouraged to attend a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference to be held at 2:00 PM, local time, on Friday, May 1st, 2020 at the Engineering Office of Henry E. Rohlsen Airport, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The Engineer will stream the Pre-bid conference via a teleconference. Teleconference log-in information will be provided via addendum prior to the Bid date.
