The V.I. Port Authority on Tuesday night took another major step toward fruition of Phase 1 of the $26.8 Million Cyril E. King Airport Parking and Transportation Center. The facility will have 600 parking spaces and a dedicated location for ground transportation and car rental operations. The project is funded via a $20 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce-Economic Development Administration in 2019, and a $6.8 million local match.
