LIAT Making Stops to St. Croix During Christmas Season

LIAT, which resumed flights to St. Thomas on Nov. 21, is making three stops to St. Croix as part of its holiday season special offering, with the airline's first stop occurring on Saturday, Dec. 4.

About five people arrived to the island on LIAT Saturday while fifteen people departed to various Caribbean destinations on the airline, whose main hub is Antigua.

The other dates for LIAT's arrival on St. Croix for December is December 18 and December 31. These special flights can only be booked via LIAT's Reservations Call Center at 1-268-480-5601.

Relative to LIAT's St. Thomas schedule, the airline is operating a weekly service into the Cyril E. King International Airport. The flight operates every Sunday with a LI 360 will departing the V. C. Bird International at 12:45 p.m. and arriving in St. Thomas at 1:45 p.m. The return leg leaves St. Thomas at 2:45 p.m. and arrives in Antigua at 3:45 p.m. The route is operated using the ATR 42 aircraft. Tickets can be purchased online at LIAT.com or through the call center.

LIAT is also continuing discussions to restart service to other destinations across the region. The airline, which is currently insolvent, operates to nine destinations across the Caribbean with its hub and home base located in Antigua.
