ST. THOMAS — The West Indian Company Limited is projecting 359 vessel calls and approximately 1.25 million passengers during fiscal year 2027, according to the cruise call schedule announced by WICO President and CEO Joseph Boschulte.
The schedule covers the period between October 2026 and September 2027 and includes calls from several major cruise operators, including Carnival Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Viking Cruises, Virgin Voyages, Crystal Cruises and others.
Among the highlights are five first-time calls to the WICO dock: Carnival Festivale, Carnival Firenze, Explora III, Norwegian Aura and Seven Seas Prestige.
The FY2027 ship schedule lists Explora III at WICO on December 27, 2026; Seven Seas Prestige on January 8, 2027; Carnival Firenze on March 5, 2027; Carnival Festivale on June 1, 2027; and Norwegian Aura on June 22, 2027.
"I am excited about the forthcoming season at the WICO dock," said Boschulte. "The continued growth of our cruise industry represents more than passenger arrivals. It supports the Virgin Islands economy and the many small businesses that help make our destination unique, from taxi operators and tour providers to restaurants, retailers and other local entrepreneurs."
Mr. Boschulte also said cruise traffic continues to play an important role in the broader tourism economy.
"Cruise passenger arrivals in the USVI and at WICO continue to rise. Cruise spend plays an important part in the Territory's robust tourism economy. I thank our partners and community for their continued support."
WICO said the full FY2027 cruise call schedule is available in the FY-2027-SHIP-SCHEDULE.pdf. The schedule notes that it is subject to change without prior notice.
The West Indian Company Limited serves as the cruise port operator in the U.S. Virgin Islands and supports the territory’s tourism industry and economic development through its management of port facilities and strategic partnerships. WICO said its operations help enhance visitor experiences while creating opportunities for local businesses and residents.
