Virgin Islands-based cinematographer Dwight Winston has earned another Emmy nomination for his work on CBS's Survivor. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has recognized Winston’s skill with a 2024 nomination in the Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Program category.

This is Winston’s second consecutive Emmy nomination in this category, credit to his talent for capturing the vivid moments and real-life drama of reality television.

Reflecting on the nomination, Winston expressed deep gratitude. “I’m incredibly honored to be nominated again,” he said. “It’s a testament to the amazing team I’ve had the privilege of working alongside—everyone on the entire team brings unparalleled talent and commitment to every shoot. I’m just grateful to play a part in helping bring these stories to life.”

Widely recognized for his unique ability to capture raw moments on camera, Winston has established himself as a leading aerial cinematographer within the reality television genre. In addition to his television work, Winston is expanding his creative portfolio. He has hinted at new film and television projects that will continue to showcase his storytelling talents.

Winston also recently launched Moko Drones, a drone light show company offering services across the U.S., Caribbean, and Central and South America. Through Moko Drones, Winston aims to merge technology and artistry to deliver visually stunning experiences to audiences, adding a new dimension to his craft.

Winston said he remains committed to exploring innovative avenues within the industry. “There’s so much more to come, and I’m excited to share it all in the future," he said.

Over his career, Winston has built an impressive client portfolio, working with other major networks and organizations such as The Walt Disney Company, DIRECTV, The Amazing Race, Viya Cable Company, LP Entertainment, Iconic Vision Inc., and media giants like MTV, BET, FOX, and CNN. He has also contributed to the Wendy Williams Show and collaborated with notable local entities, including the V.I. Department of Education, V.I. Port Authority, V.I. Department of Tourism, and the administrations of former Governors Mapp and de Jongh.
