Liberty VI said recently that it continues to make headway on its fixed fiber network construction project in East End, St. Croix, with no complications reported. The installation of underground conduits is currently underway, and the expected completion date is set for May 15, 2023.

The Clairmont and Sally's Fancy project has seen the successful completion of its underground conduit installation, Liberty said. The next phase, the installation of fiber optic cables, commenced on Wednesday, May 3. So far, approximately 10.9 route miles of conduits have been installed on the island of St. Croix, according to the communications firm.

Recent photos showcase the trenching work conducted for the placement of underground conduits and fiber optic cables along Seven Flaggs Road and further east on East End Road.

Liberty VI said it remains committed to keeping residents informed about the progress of the fiber network construction project. Updates on the company's work around the territory will be available on its website, https://www.libertyvi.com/news, allowing residents to plan their daily commutes accordingly. The company also advised residents within the affected communities to park their vehicles on their properties rather than on the streets to avoid obstructions or potential damage.
