The FenWay Stadium in Boston is the official stadium of the Boston Red Sox baseball team.

Governor Albert Bryan is set to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays game tonight, Government House has announced.

The governor will arrive at Fenway Park for the evening game, where he will be joined by Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte, Red Sox President Sam Kennedy, and JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes in Mr. Kennedy's private box after the pitch, the administration made known.

Governor Bryan has yet to decide if he will throw a four-seam fastball or a curve ball for the ceremonial pitch.

At most levels of baseball, the ceremonial first pitch is a time-honored tradition where a celebrity or a locally significant person throws the first pitch. Sometimes the ceremonial pitcher is given a cap or a jersey, but typically they are allowed to keep the baseball as a souvenir.

Governor governor is traveling to attend the SelectUSA Investment Summit in National Harbor, Maryland, and the Boston Business Summit this week, and he is also scheduled to meeting with Mr. Hayes, the Jetblue CEO, to discuss travel matters.
