Who will challenge Governor Albert Bryan in 2022? As the big election year gets ready to kickoff, the Board of Elections has released the full calendar for the 2022 gubernatorial year election season.

Formidable challengers have yet to come forward, but announcements are expected following the Christmas holidays. Governor Bryan, however, says he's ready for potential challengers, telling the Consortium during an interview in June that he felt good about his odds.
The Consortium will kickoff its "Political Consortium" video interviews early next year, where VIC Publisher Ernice Gilbert interviews current elected leaders as well as those seeking higher office.
