Gubernatorial candidates Kent Bernier and Oakland Benta will be live on the Consortium tonight for an interview, where the two men are expected to share why they should be given a chance to lead the territory over Governor Albert Bryan.

The interview, being conducted by the Consortium's Ernice Gilbert, starts at 7:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on the V.I. Consortium Facebook page. It will later be embedded on the VIC website.

The interview comes just four days before the August 6 Democratic Primary. Mr. Bernier and his running mate are expected to speak about their plans for the territory if they were to be elected, while being challenged by Mr. Gilbert on a number of issues.

Live coverage of the primary election will be carried live on the Consortium's Facebook platform and website, with Mr. Gilbert as the host of the WTJX-produced event that will also be aired on the broadcast's Facebook page, website and television beginning at 7:00 p.m.
