Election System employees conduct ballot-selection on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, for the General Election.

The lots have been cast for this year's General Election, and the Election System of the Virgin Islands has released the order. The results determine placement on the November ballot.

Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett nabbed the number one spot in the race for Delegate to Congress. Ms. Plaskett will face only one opponent this election cycle, namely Shakema M. George.

In the race for Senate, Senators Marvin Blyden and Stedmann Hodge Jr. took the second and third spots respectively in the St. Thomas-St. John District. Senator Steven D. Payne, an At-Large Democrat, holds the number one spot territory-wide. He has no competition this year.

On St. Croix, Senator Javan James took the number two spot, while candidate Genevieve Whitaker nabbed the third.
