As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, approximately 9,525 votes were cast in the St. Croix District and 9,278 in the St. Thomas-St. John District, according to a press release from the Elections Systems of the Virgin Islands. This brings the total vote count to 24,570, and that's without numbers for the three remaining hours.
