Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes
Early voting for the August 4 primary election will begin on July 14, four days later than scheduled due to "unforeseen circumstances," said the Election System of the Virgin Islands, without stating what, exactly, those circumstances were.
It will run until July 25, the Election System said, and will take place at the following locations:
- The St. Croix Elections Office, located in the Sunny Isle Annex (Unit 4)
- The St. Thomas Elections Office, located in Lockhart Gardens (upstairs Banco Popular)
- The St. John Elections Office, located at the Market Place, suite II
On Saturday, Caroline Fawkes, Elections Supervisor, released an amended 2018 election calendar that pins early voting for the general election as beginning on October 15 and ending on October 29.
General election day is November 6. And peradventure there were to be a runoff election, it would take place on November 20, according to the calendar provided by Mrs. Fawkes and seen below.
