John Canegata is a Republican, but he'd rather be called a Virgin Islander.

"Listen to my values: I respect the constitution; I believe in personal responsibility, the sanctity of life and limited government," Canegata told the VI Consortium in our "Big Interview" series with Soraya Diase-Cofflet, the gubernatorial candidate to which he is running-mate.

Canegata also spoke on a myriad of topics--from rebuilding the Virgin Islands' economy to his ideas for the energy crisis, his disagreement with Coffelt's stance on the medicinal use of marijuana, and much more.
