Jackson Development Company (JDC) is interested in working with qualified, skilled, and licensed contractors in various construction related trades to assist in making improvements to our newly acquired housing developments (Lovenlund Apartments, Bellevue Village, and Calabash Boom) located on St. Thomas and St. John. 

JDC is committed to preserving the communities as long-term affordable housing, both for sale to existing tenants and as rentals.  JDC will make physical improvements to all the communities to provide hurricane hardening, improve resilience and to maintain quality of the housing stock on both islands. We are looking for painters, roofers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons and general contractors to assist us in this endeavor!

JDC is the recipient of federal funds from the Office of Disaster Recovery (ODR)and the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA), through the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Mitigation (MIT) Programs.  All contractors will be required to adhere to the applicable federal rules and regulations.
