ST. THOMAS/ST.JOHN/ST.CROIX DISTRICT, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA), through its RFP No. 2023-RFP-0009, has officially announced an invitation for Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish a new payment portal system.
VIPA is seeking proposals from qualified business entities with the necessary experience and expertise to design, implement, and maintain an e-payment card services system. This multi-year contract will require the successful entity to provide all labor, parts, and materials essential for the implementation of this system.
Interested parties are expected to provide and manage an electronic payment processing system that offers additional related services, as outlined in the project's scope of work.
The deadline for electronic submissions through VIPA's electronic procurement system is set for 4:00 p.m. AST, Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Proposals can be submitted through the following link: https://viportbids.ionwave.net.
The Authority reserves the right to set additional or alternative selection criteria as deemed necessary to ensure the quality and reliability of the proposed system.
Entities interested in viewing the RFP or submitting a proposal must first register as a Supplier on VIPA's electronic procurement system, after which they can upload their response to the portal. The RFP and registration portal can be accessed at https://viportbids.ionwave.net.
