The Department of Planning and Natural Resources announces that pursuant to Virgin Islands Rules and Regulations, Title 12, Chapter 21, Section 904-9 meetings of the St. Croix Committee of the Virgin Islands Coastal Zone Management Commission have been scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. In an effort to help to reduce the global spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), this meeting will be held via the video conferencing platform Zoom.

Items on the agenda include an application for Federal Consistency Determination, CZX-6-23(FC), submitted by the Virgin Islands Department of Health. The project proposes to relocate the Public Health Laboratory and the EMS Modular Facility and ancillary support/storage buildings to allow for continuity of operations during the reconstruction of the Charles Harwood Memorial Complex. VI Department of Health has partnered with the VI Housing Authority for the use of the proposed project site which is located at Plot Nos. 11-E and 11-F Penitentiary Land, Christiansted, St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
