Unresponsive Male Found on Northside Road, VIPD Launches Investigation

VIPD confirmed that Ras-I Hendrickson, 25, was found lying in the roadway near the Princess Health Center around 3:38 a.m. on September 24, 2025. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene, and investigators are seeking public assistance.

ST. CROIX — The V.I. Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Bureau is probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a 25-year-old man discovered unresponsive early Wednesday morning in La Grande Princess.

According to the VIPD, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report at 3:38 a.m. on September 24, 2025, about a male lying motionless in the roadway along Northside Road (Route 75) near the Princess Health Center.

Officers from the Traffic Investigation Bureau, along with Emergency Medical Services, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, police confirmed that the man was unresponsive. EMS later pronounced him deceased at the location.

The deceased was identified by a family member as Ras-I Hendrickson, age 25.

The Traffic Investigation Bureau has launched an active investigation to establish the facts of the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact 911 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
