ST. THOMAS — Authorities are currently investigating the discovery of a body found in the waters near the promenade on Veteran’s Drive.
The V.I. Police Department confirmed that on Monday, October 16 at 7:50 a.m., they received a report of a black male's body spotted floating in the area.
As of now, the identification process by the next of kin is ongoing, and the man's identity remains undisclosed. An autopsy is scheduled to ascertain the exact cause of death.
