Mapp Taps Frorup-Ali To Join JFL Board of Directors

ST. CROIX -- Governor Kenneth Mapp has appointed Theresa M. Frorup-Ali to the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center's board of directors, a press release Government House issued on Tuesday revealed. The appointment is for a three-year term, which Mrs. Frorup-Ali is expected to serve until the appointment of her successor.

Mrs. Frorup-Ali is currently an accountant and certified payroll specialist, according to the release. She is a graduate of St. Croix Central High School, with an associate’s degree in accounting, a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of the Virgin Islands.

In his correspondence letter to Senate President Neville James, Mr. Mapp said: "It is my pleasure to ask the advice and consent of the 31st Legislature on the nomination of Mrs. Frorup-Ali. A prompt and favorable confirmation will enhance the Board’s ability to meet its busy agenda and serve the people of the US Virgin Islands."
