Residents who were unable to pick up their checks on their allotted day will be able to do so on Friday, November 18.
On St. John, checks are available for recipients at the Office of the Administrator in Cruz Bay.
Gov't House said that OMB also will send out the Social Security Stipend checks through the mail to any resident who sends an email to [email protected] with “SSA Stipend” in the subject line that includes the following information:
- Name
- Last four digits of their Social Security number
- Phone number
- Correct address
The Social Security Stipend funds are being made available from the American Rescue Plan Act State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, which allows for helping households respond to the negative economic impacts of the pandemic.
