Government House announced Friday that Governor Albert Bryan has been selected as one of 16 outstanding black male leaders from the United States, and will be presented an award at the “ICABA Salutes Men Who Lead” Awards Luncheon and Leadership Summit taking place in Fort Lauderdale on October 14.

The International Career and Business Alliance (ICABA) is a member-based, global business network assisting professionals and entrepreneurs of color to attain their career, business and lifestyle aspirations that serves more than 1 million accomplished black professionals, according to Gov't House.

Its mission is to connect accomplished black professionals and entrepreneurs to valuable relationships, information, and opportunities to achieve career, business and lifestyle aspirations and to raise awareness and recognition of the accomplishments of professionals and entrepreneurs of color to enhance marketplace value and provide role models.

ICABA describes the “Men Who Lead” honorees as individuals who exemplify the accomplishments and aspirations of ICABA members, according to the organization’s website.

In addition to the awards luncheon, the ICABA Leadership Summit will feature four workshops:

  • Leading for Significance vs. Success
