Government House announced Saturday that Governor Albert Bryan left the territory Friday, May 7 and will be out until Sunday, May 16 to celebrate his wedding anniversary and attend planned business meetings in Miami.
Government House said Mr. Bryan will be monitoring the status of the government's investigation into the noxious odors on St. Croix.
Lt. Governor Tregenza Roach will serve as acting governor during Mr. Bryan's absence.
Students, parents and community members plan a protest today at Gov't House in Christiansted beginning at 11:00 a.m. against planned drive-thru graduation ceremonies on St. Croix.
