Revelers eager to just be outside having a good time on Saturday descended on downtown Christiansted to participate in the first St. Patrick's Day Parade on St. Croix in two years.
It was the first sanctioned mass gathering on the island that included well over 500 people where most were not wearing masks, though event organizers said in a post that face coverings were being handed out to "people that may need one."
Gov. Albert Bryan last Monday lifted the indoor mask mandate, an action that further moved the territory away from Covid-induced restrictions.
Below, some scenes of the event.
