The annual St. Croix boat parade drew thousands of spectators on Saturday, including military personnel from the USS Iwo Jima currently in Frederiksted for rest and recreation. The event featured live entertainment, a wide range of local food vendors, appearances by Santa, and a festive procession of boats illuminated with Christmas lights. The decorated vessels departed from Gallows Bay and traveled past the Christiansted Boardwalk, where crowds gathered to cheer as boats passed by, some hosting onboard music and celebrations. The evening concluded with a drone display and culminated in a large fireworks show that lit up the night sky over St. Croix. Watch some of the action here, here and here.
