Utopia: The Unity Festival, building to be one of the greatest entertainment events to ever take place in U.S. Virgin Islands, happens on Sunday, May 5th in St. Thomas at the Crown Bay Dock, and features one of the biggest international artists in the world, Burna Boy. We've compiled everything you need to know about the highly anticipated event.

Ticket prices: 

General admission: $174 

Front Stage Access: $209

VIP: $350

Persons in the VIP will have access to Front Stage as well. The VIP is an elevated experience, complete with food and drinks, and is situated to the front on both sides of the stage. VIP customers will also have their own restrooms, complete with air conditioning and multiple stations. 

Tickets can be purchased at EventBrite here. Tickets will be also be available at the gate. Please bring a copy of your ticket, either a screenshot stored on your phone that you can present at the gate, or an actual printout, so that gatekeepers can scan, confirm your ticket category, and provide the requisite access wristband. 

Lineup and and Run of Show

The Unity Festival features a solid mix of artists at the top of their craft, among them local deejays and bands. It also features dancehall superstar Spice, the USVI's Grammy Award-winning R. City, and Burna Boy, who will be joined by his entire band — over 30 individuals — to give attendees a memorable show. Top deejays Puffy and Private Ryan are also on the lineup. Gates open at 2:00 p.m. and the event starts on time at 4:00 p.m. The Unity Festival is slated to be over by 3:00 a.m.

Security & Concessions

The Unity Festival comes with multiple security layers, including hired personnel with law enforcement background, the V.I. Police Department and the V.I. Port Authority Police. Law enforcement will also secure the waterway entrance of the port. The festival is being held at the Crown Bay facility where ships dock, and it will be completely fenced. The fence will also be shaded black to block outside view. St. Thomas Rescue will be on location with personnel, two ambulances and other emergency response vehicle and team members.

Beverages will be sold at the event, with multiple bars setup to accommodate patrons with ease. Food will also be on sale, with select vendors to provide a variety of food options. 

Garbage bins will be placed throughout the facility, and patrons are encouraged to dispose of garbage responsibly. Patrons are also encouraged to keep their drink cups until the end of the event to limit waste. Customers who keep their drink cups will pay less for their beverages after the first purchase.
