With Christmas Day now in the rearview mirror, the Crucian Christmas Festival takes center stage, kicking off a vibrant lineup of activities starting tonight. The festival’s events will be streamed live on V.I. Consortium and the USVI Festivals Facebook pages.
The festival begins with the Prince & Princess Show, set to take place at the Festival Village on Thursday starting at 4:00 p.m. While there will be no queen show this year, Markeymah Cargile, the sole individual to participate in the competition, will be coronated on Thursday evening.
Friday’s highlight is the Calypso Monarch event, also at the Festival Village, followed by the exciting Band Clash on Saturday.
On Sunday, the Festival Village, aptly named Maestro's Musical Haven in honor of Kevré Hendricks, officially opens. The opening ceremony will feature remarks from local dignitaries, setting the stage for a night of entertainment featuring local and international performers. Vendors will also open their booths, offering a wide array of food, drinks, and cultural merchandise.
