"Same Difference & Friends 2" Set to Ignite Conversations on Love, Culture, and Community

Jah-malie Douglas, the host of The Same Difference Podcast and A Different Day radio show, is gearing up for what is being promoted as an exciting two-day event, "Same Difference & Friends 2", scheduled for September 27th and 28th.

The event, aimed at sparking thought-provoking discussions and fostering community engagement, will take place at Lounge 55 on the first day and at Levels on the second.

The first night, held on September 27th from 7-9 PM, will feature a live podcast covering topics such as love, sex, dating, and relationships. Mr. Douglas, along with his panelists, will engage the audience in a dynamic Q&A segment, followed by a meet-and-greet. Attendees can look forward to fun and engaging conversations. Panelists for the evening include:

  • Mr. Douglas, who goes by the moniker Jah, host of The Same Difference Podcast
  • Marcus Norman, host of Gentlemanstyle Podcast
  • Dan Moody
  • Raven Scott
  • DJ Yessai, host of Bush Tea in the Mawning

The second night, on September 28th from 7-9 PM, will feature a multigenerational panel discussing issues that affect Virgin Islanders in what is expected to resemble a town hall setting. This night promises insightful dialogue on topics ranging from education to governance and community challenges. The panelists for this event include:

  • Genevieve Whitaker, former Senator
  • Diane Prosper, Independent Senatorial Candidate
  • Garry Norman, 30-year retired educator
  • Sayeeda Carter

Both events will be moderated by co-host Tanisea James. Attendees can also enjoy photo opportunities with moko jumbies and a fire show.
