ST. CROIX -- Amy Parker De Sorbo, director of administration and development at the Botanical Garden in St. George, along with her team, outdid themselves yet another year for the Mango Melee event on St. Croix, which was held on Sunday. The 23rd annual affair saw one of its largest turnouts so far, drawing thousands of residents and visitors to the garden for a taste of St. Croix's culture, craft, and the island's wide assortment of food.

This year, organizers widened the offering with more entertainment from local artists, more competition, and even a Gentlemen of Jones bar. Vendors lined all sides of the garden, giving eventgoers a wide array of eateries to choose from. Mango Melee has also been an event where people meet with friends and where acquaintances who hadn't connected for a while catch up.
