CRUZ BAY, ST. JOHN -- The St. John 2016 Festival ended on Tuesday with a colorful parade, and later that evening with fireworks commemorating Independence Day, and a finale Festival Village night that closed with the legendary Krosfyah band out of Barbados.
The island's j'ouvert morning event, which happened at about 7:00 a.m. and lasted just over an hour, was nothing to scuff at, according to Consortium reporter Ernice Gilbert.
