The V.I. Board of Elections has announced a series of voter registration drives and machine demonstrations scheduled for early September. These events aim to facilitate voter registration and provide hands-on demonstrations of voting machines for residents across the territory.

The first event is set to take place on Tuesday, September 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sunny Isle Pavilion on St. Croix. A subsequent session will be held on Wednesday, September 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Tutu Park Mall in St. Thomas.

To register to vote, eligible residents must bring one of the following original documents: a birth certificate, U.S. passport, military discharge form (DD214), or a naturalization certificate. Photocopies of these documents will not be accepted.

These registration drives are being organized in collaboration with the Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands and AARP.
