ST. THOMAS – Lockhart Primary School received a donation of approximately $4,000 in school supplies from the Office Depot, the company announced Monday.

Office Depot collects school supply donations from patrons and staff twice a year to support a school on St. Thomas, said store Manager Jorge Sanchez.

This year, Lockhart Primary School was selected to receive supplies according, to Sanchez.

“This is a corporate program that typically targets high school students; however, this year, we wanted to do something different and support our younger students and the community has been extremely supportive,” Sanchez said.

“We are very grateful for the support of Office Depot and our community members and their interest in helping our students,” said Lockhart Principal Audrey Bowry.
