Fuel prices increased at three TotalEnergies locations on St. Thomas, while selected prices declined at two St. Croix stations and the Crown Bay marina, according to the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs’ latest territorywide survey.
DLCA marked increases in premium and regular gasoline at TotalEnergies locations at Gottlieb Quickway, Bonjour and Fort Mylner. Diesel also increased at Gottlieb Quickway and Bonjour.
On St. Croix, the agency marked decreases in full-service premium at Welco Gas Station and self-service premium and regular at Budget Gas. Crown Bay’s marina diesel price also declined.
Despite the selected changes, St. Croix continued to post the lowest average and minimum self-service prices for regular, premium and diesel. St. John had the highest average regular price, while St. Thomas recorded the highest average premium and diesel prices.
The survey was conducted July 13 on St. Croix and St. Thomas and July 14 on St. John. DLCA released the findings July 20 to help consumers locate the most affordable fuel prices in the territory and compare retail prices with wholesale rack rates.

DLCA reminded fuel retailers that territorial law requires the minimum octane rating, retail price per gallon and separately stated tax per gallon to be continuously and publicly displayed on or near every pump for each blend of motor fuel offered.
The department also reminded retailers that every gas station must provide a functioning air hose for public use during normal business hours. Failure to comply may result in a fine of up to $100 for each offense.
