Bryan Heads to Target Center in Minneapolis to Cheer on Aliyah Boston During 'Final Four' Game on Friday, Interview With ESPN Scheduled

Governor Albert Bryan will be out of the territory on Thursday to attend the Women’s NCAA Final Four to cheer on South Carolina star player Aliyah Boston and then travel to Washington, D.C., for official meetings, Government House has announced.

According to the release, Mr. Bryan is traveling to the South Carolina vs Louisville game in  Minneapolis, Minnesota with Sports, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Calvert White to support Aliyah, and he also has an interview scheduled on ESPN at halftime. The game is at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 1, on ESPN.

During the governor's absence, Finance Commissioner Bosede Bruce will be the Acting Governor as Lt. Governor Tregenza Roach is is out of the territory attending the 2022 National Lieutenant Governor’s Association (NLGA) Federal State Relations Meeting in Washington, D.C. 

Mr. Bryan is scheduled to return to the USVI on Thursday, April 7, and Mr. Roach on Sunday, April 3, Gov't House said.

The Final Four will begin on Friday and there will be a game at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The national title game will be played on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. All three Final Four games will be televised on ESPN.
