The V.I. Division of Festival's Princess and Duchess Show takes place this Sunday at the Alfredo Andrews Elementary School beginning at 4:00 p.m., with three contestants vying for the princess crown, while two compete for the duchess.
The event kicks off the festival season in earnest, which last took place on St. Croix in 2019, as Covid-induced mandates prevented cultural activities for at least two years.
On Sunday, the contestants will bring their best to the show, which will be followed by the Queen Show on Dec. 18. Tickets for both shows are available at the V.I. Dept. of Tourism's office in Frederiksted, and at Urban Threadz at the Sunny Isle Shopping Center.
