Eric Adjepong, celebrity chef and Top Chef alum, will headline Wine in the Warehouse 2025 at Bohlke International Aviation Hangar, guiding local students and showcasing his culinary talent.
ST. CROIX — St. Croix Foundation has announced that tickets are now on sale for Wine in the Warehouse 2025, which returns on Friday, December 5, at the Bohlke International Aviation Hangar. Organizers say this year’s event will be the most exciting yet, highlighted by the participation of celebrity chef Eric Adjepong, Food Network host and Top Chef alum, who will headline the culinary experience.
Now in its 18th year, Wine in the Warehouse has become one of St. Croix’s most anticipated culinary and philanthropic events. Hosted by Bohlke International Aviation, the evening will feature over 45 curated wines from CC1, local cuisine, a silent auction, and live entertainment, set against the striking backdrop of a private jet fleet.
For the first time, the event will also include the participation of St. Croix Central and Complex High School culinary programs. Students will have the opportunity to work alongside Chef Eric in the kitchen and showcase their talents for more than 500 guests.
More than an evening of food and wine, Wine in the Warehouse serves as the Foundation’s only annual fundraiser. Proceeds sustain year-round programs that strengthen St. Croix, including revitalization of downtown Christiansted, restoration of the historic Alexander Theatre, youth scholarships, and data-driven policy work through KIDS COUNT USVI.
St. Croix Foundation says it connects its mission to the symbolism of the baobab tree, known across Africa and the Caribbean as the “Tree of Life.” Its deep roots, wide branches, and nourishing fruit represent strength and resilience, values the Foundation says anchor its work.
Organizers describe Wine in the Warehouse as the “fruit” of that tree — a gathering where community, culture, and philanthropy intersect. Each ticket and sponsorship, they note, sustains efforts ranging from revitalizing Sunday Market Square and funding scholarships to strengthening nonprofits through fiscal sponsorship, grantmaking, and advocacy.
This year’s announcement carries added significance with the participation of Chef Adjepong. As a first-generation Ghanaian-American, his heritage is tied to the homeland of the baobab tree, a long-revered symbol of nourishment and community. His involvement, according to the Foundation, connects St. Croix’s own roots with those of West Africa and highlights a broader story of resilience, abundance, and belonging.
