The event begins at 6 a.m. each day, with food available while supplies last. This year's celebration expands to three days, compared with the two-day event held in 2025.

Throughout the weekend, customers can purchase an assortment of traditional foods, including tititwi acra, roasted johnny cakes, stuffed plantain, saltfish balls, salmon balls, white pudding without blood, roasted and stuffed breadfruit, cassava bread, and saltfish with smoked herring.

Other weekend offerings include roasted dasheen, ferchin (cow skin), saltfish cakes, homemade bread, butter flap, and ducana with saltfish. Crab backs and ferchin will be available in limited quantities.

Gasaway has hosted previous editions of Creole & Market Day, bringing together traditional island cooking and locally available produce. Last year's celebration featured a similar assortment of Creole favorites during a two-day event.

The 2026 celebration takes place at Gasaway Service Station & Mini Mart, 3526 Estate Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix — just before the Bypass heading east.
