All Three East End Road Rape Suspects Now In Custody Of V.I.P.D.

ST. CROIX -- All three suspects said to be involved in the East End Road rape incident that occurred here in May, are now in the custody of the Virgin Islands Police Department after the third suspect who had fled the island for the U.S. mainland, was returned to the territory by V.I.P.D. Criminal Investigation Detectives, according to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte. The Consortium learned of the suspect's return late Saturday. Hubert Wyliss Lee Jr., 22, who also goes by the moniker “blackest”, and is the third suspect in the rape incident was arrested by the U.S. Marshall Service in North Carolina in June, and brought back to the territory today. He has been charged with first-degree rape, carrying or using a dangerous weapon during the commission of a crime, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a motor vehicle, and first-degree robbery.
