Verbal Altercation Leads To Stabbing In St. Thomas; Man Arrested After Dragging Woman Down Staircase In St. John

Two incidents reported by the V.I.P.D. on Friday left separate individuals injured -- one including an argument that led to a stabbing, and a domestic issue that saw a woman being dragged down a flight of stairs.  According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte, on February 18, a woman reported to police that a male acquaintance named Felipe Jimenez Caraballo, seen below, broke into her neighbor’s house, which the female victim was occupying. He then assaulted her by dragging her outside and down a flight of stairs, according to police. The woman sustained bruises on her arm, leg and thigh from the assault, Mr. Dratte said. 32-year-old Jimenez Caraballo (V.I.P.D.) On Friday, Mr. Caraballo turned himself in and was charged with first-degree burglary and domestic violence charges.
