ST. THOMAS — A violent shooting incident on Monday night has left a woman with multiple gunshot wounds in St. Thomas, the V.I. Police Department has announced.
According to the report, the VIPD's Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigation Bureau were called to the Schneider Regional Medical Center at approximately 9:55 p.m. following reports of an assault.
According to the victim's statement to detectives, the attack occurred as she was parking her vehicle at her home. She reported that a masked individual, armed with a gun, approached her and opened fire, resulting in her sustaining multiple bullet wounds.
The authorities are actively investigating this serious incident and are seeking assistance from the public. Anyone with information about this shooting is strongly encouraged to come forward.
