ST. THOMAS — On Tuesday at roughly 5:49 p.m., police arrested 38-year-old Michelyn Lespron of Estate Frydenhoj, and charged her with grand larceny and possession of stolen property, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima has announced.
According to the news release, an investigation into the incident revealed that Lespron allegedly stole a mobile phone from her former employer in November of 2020. The phone was tracked to Lespron’s location, and when detectives asked about the stolen property, she produced the phone. Subsequently, Lespron was placed under arrest.
Unable to make bail of $20,000, the suspect was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending her advisement hearing.
