Woman Arrested After Police Find Ammunition at Her Residence

ST. CROIX — Police on Friday arrested a woman after finding ammunition at her residence, announced police spokesman Toby Derima.

According to the news release, at approximately 6:16 a.m. Friday, police arrested Rikisha Heywood, age 35 of Queen Street, Frederiksted, and charged her with possession of ammunition. Mr. Derima said officers discovered the ammunition while executing a search warrant at her residence.

Unable to make bail of $5,500, Heywood was remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending her advisement hearing.
