VIPD Investigates Early-Morning Stabbing Outside Night Club on St. Thomas

A 37-year-old woman was hospitalized with a hand injury after attempting to break up a fight outside a nightclub on Store Tver Gade. The VIPD’s CIB is leading the probe and urges anyone with information to contact authorities or Crime Stoppers.

The V.I. Department is investigating an early-morning stabbing that occurred on Saturday, October 25, near the Bliss Night Club on Store Tver Gade in St. Thomas.

According to police, the 911 Emergency Call Center alerted officers around 4:00 a.m. to a possible stabbing victim being treated at the Schneider Regional Medical Center. Responding officers made contact with the victim, a 37-year-old woman, who told investigators she was injured while trying to intervene in a fight outside the nightclub.

Preliminary findings revealed that the woman sustained a laceration to her left palm during the altercation. She was transported to the hospital by private vehicle and is currently listed in stable condition, police confirmed.

The Criminal Investigation Bureau has taken over the case and is working to determine the circumstances that led to the incident. Detectives are reviewing evidence and conducting interviews to identify any suspects involved.
