ST. JOHN — In a swift response to a burglary report, the V.I. Police Department said it has successfully apprehended a suspect identified from surveillance footage.
According to the VIPD, on December 12 VIPD officers were dispatched to the Chocolate Hole Sea Winds Villas Condominium on St. John around 6:20 p.m. following a report from a resident about missing items in their home.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers managed to secure surveillance footage capturing the suspect in the act. The ongoing investigation led to the identification of the suspect as 25-year-old Jordan Lynch. On December 28, Lynch was spotted in the Main Street area of St. Thomas, leading to his arrest by the VIPD's Criminal Investigation Bureau.
Following his arrest, Lynch was taken into custody with his bail set at $25,000.00, pending an advice of rights hearing.
