ST. THOMAS — Two women were robbed near the BeeHive Gentlemen’s Club in Subbase early Saturday by two masked men dressed entirely in black, with one victim struck in the head with a firearm and the other pushed to the ground, the V.I. Police Department has confirmed to The Consortium.
VIDP Director of Communications Glen Dratte said officers patrolling the Subbase area requested additional units at approximately 3:34 a.m. on September 19 to respond to the area of the BeeHive Gentlemen’s Club.
Responding officers met with two women who said they had been approached by two men wearing black clothing and masks covering their faces. According to the victims, the men demanded their belongings before forcibly taking jewelry and a bag containing personal items. One woman was struck in the head with a firearm, while the other was pushed to the ground.
Police described the suspects as Black men, with one reportedly having dreadlocks. Both fled the area immediately after the robbery. No suspects had been identified in the initial police report.
