ST. THOMAS — Detectives from the VIPD's Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested two suspects in connection with a shooting that occurred on November 24, 2024, in the vicinity of Oswald Harris Court. The suspects, identified as 18-year-old Azani Prentice and 19-year-old Tony Isaac, were taken into custody following an extensive investigation that included surveillance footage of the incident.
According to the VIPD, the footage shows Prentice, with assistance from Isaac, firing multiple shots at a male victim as he fled on foot. The victim sustained several gunshot wounds during the incident.
Prentice and Isaac have been charged with multiple offenses, including attempted murder in the first degree, assault in the first degree, reckless endangerment, willful discharge of a firearm, possession of an unlicensed firearm, and conspiracy. Both individuals were remanded to custody with bail set at $500,000 each.
The VIPD said the investigation remains active and urged members of the public with information about the case to come forward. Individuals can contact the 911 Emergency Call Center, Detective Y.
