ST. THOMAS — A shooting incident on Raphune Hill early Sunday led to two individuals sustaining gunshot wounds, the V.I. Police Department has announced. The VIPD's Criminal Investigation Bureau is actively investigating the case.
Around 3:00 a.m., the CIB responded to an emergency call at the Schneider Regional Medical Center, where two gunshot victims had been admitted. According to initial reports, both individuals were in the vicinity of Raphune Hill when they heard gunshots. Shortly after, they realized they had been shot. The first victim sustained a gunshot wound to the hand, while the second was injured in the back. Both received medical treatment at the hospital for their injuries.
