ST. THOMAS — Three people were injured in a shooting in the Savan area near Luciano Bar on Sunday night, but police say the victims provided investigators with no information that could help determine what happened or identify anyone involved.
Members of the V.I. Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau responded to the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital at approximately 8:21 p.m. after receiving a report that three gunshot victims had arrived for treatment. Police said the three individuals were reportedly involved in an assault in Savan and had sustained gunshot wounds near Luciano Bar.
Detectives made contact with all three victims at the hospital, but according to VIPD, none provided information that could assist investigators in establishing the circumstances surrounding the shooting or identifying any individuals who may have been involved.
Police did not disclose the identities of the victims, the severity of their injuries, what led to the shooting, or whether any suspects had been identified.
